What Is Microblading?
Microblading is a form of permanent make up. Traditionally done using a manual hand tool and a microblade or nanoblade. Microblades and Nanoblades come in various sizes to match the clients brow hair thickness (if there are any). The blade chosen is also dependant on the clients skin type. Medical Grade pigment is used to dip the blade in before implanting this into the upper layer of the skin to create crisp Hair stroke patterns.
How is Microblading done?
After the Technician has measured out and designed your new brow shape, They will Draw the first set of strokes into your skin using the microblade or nanoblade. This creates a template for the technician to work from. The brows will then be built up over around 3 “passes” sometimes using different shades to create a natural 3d effect of hair. The process takes around 1.5 hours including the pre draw.
Does Microblading hurt?
This is the number one question I get asked here and what most clients are worried about. The answer- Very moderate pain. I’ve never had anyone wince. I use a pre numb to make the template pass comfortable. Once the skin is open a secondary numbing solution can be used and this makes the procedure almost pain free. There are lots of reviews on the website and my Facebook page.
